Hi, hoping you can help.  I am trying to open a bitmap file in Photoshop 5.5.  Computer replies "Could not open the document because the file-format cannot parse the file".  Are you able to help, thanks, Michelle

hi,

you have to somehow change the bitmap to something else, like a .jpg. Right click and change the extension.

if that doesn't work, you'll need a program like microsoft paint to open the file and change it. But simply changing the extensions should work.
