I have a situation that a certain individual is cropping a digital photo and posting it as a jpg on a website essentially showing less of the group in the original photo. Is there a way to prove the photo was cropped?

Having the original photo is a proof.

Otherwise, the size. Normally the standard size and resolution is same for each picture. If the picture has different size or less resolution than the standard size, it means it has made changes
