Adobe Photoshop/PhotoMerge

Question
I am having an issue with photomerge. After choosing the file and selecting OK, Photoshop processes the images and creates layers with the various images. It then pauses and all the layers disappear and the image windows disappear as if it has completed the task, but there is no final panoramic image. I have gotten this to work but only 1 out of 20 trys. What am I doing wrong. I am using a Mac Pro and have an updated version of CS3.

Answer
Hi Bud,

Are you using Leopard yet? There may be a conflict if you are. I checked the Adobe site for conflicts and didn't see anything.

Otherwise try doing this through Bridge. Select all the photos of the panoramic shot and then go to Tools>Photoshop>Photomerge and see what happens.

Also, I would try another setting when it goes into the Photomerge menu. Automatic may be giving you an issue.

Unfortunately, If this doesn't work you can always manually stitch these together (old school I know) but then you can select all the layers and go to Edit>Auto Blend Layers and it will "heal" them like photomerge.
