Question
I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong, but everytime i want use the text tool and want write something - it comes out larger than the layer i want to write something. I have tried everything possible and even reduced the font size to smallest  available 6 - that even is not working.
there must be something i accidentally activated. Please help; i need to write some text on layer that i created, but unable to do so as the visible line on the screen appears big.

Answer
The file resolution might have got smaller and the font you trying goes larger, try taking a new file and write the text in there, the resolution of the file should be the same you require and so the font size.

If it comes out right, means your file resolution or may be the font has some problem, copy and paste that font from that file, and check

Hope this will help, feel free to ask anything further
