Adobe Photoshop/Photoshop Action

QuestionNO...YOU DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION! What good is an Action, if all the files are saved under the same name? My question is below!
I have already answered this question for you once before.
Your Question was:
I created an Action, but have trouble when I come to the SAVE operation. Here are the steps: RECORD> open image (ie: #1)> Image> Duplicate> Save AS original image to a new folder> save AS duplicate image to the same new folder> close both images> stop record.
When I play the Action on image #2, the Action saves image #2 using file name #1.
How do I program an Action to save each image with it's own name? It takes so long to perform this operation individually. Or do you have an alternative way of doing this?
I am taking digital photos in a very large TIF format. Normally I use Photo Album to download the images from the SanDisk card onto the computer, and it's quite fast. But Photo Album doesn't recognize the TIF format. So, I opened Photoshop CS> File> Browse> I open each image, then save to the computer.
Thank you for any help! I've been fighting with this a long time.

Answeractully,
While that was a compleatly un called for responce, I must have hit a button that said I answered it already...I guess. I've only seen this question come through once, so I don't know why in the world you got the I've already asked this question responce.
anyway...yes, you need to make an action, that's the best way to do it, unless you want to manually do it. and follow what I said. You did it all right until the very end. If that is not the answer you want - for I admit I am wrong at times :). (but I asked my fellow art directors an designers the same question - so either we are all crazy or actully misunderstood). Try looking for it on Google, or Adobe, or ask the other awesome people of this group.
