Question
Hello, I found this site by just searching. I had a question and hoping you will
know the answer to. When i first run photoshop 7.0 on my pc it loads as usual
but just as soon as its about to open to use it shuts down. I have done this
numerous times and still doesnt let me use it. I even reinstalled the program and
done restarts and shutdowns. Can you help what the probelm is?

hey there,

without looking at it, I can only guess, were you able to open it at one time? Is something different on  your computer? Is there a dialog box that pops up before it shuts itself back down?

heres what it could be:

Check your fonts to make sure you don't have any faulty ones.  sometimes photoshop won't open becuase of this.  

Is your copy legal?  In order for it to work properly, you must put in a code to unlock photoshop. If it's not a legal copy, your code number might have expired.  

do you have enough ram?

Have you updated your files recently?

Call Adobe and see if they know any solutions, or to see if they can resend you new CD.
