Question
Hello, I am thinking of a one day 1to1 hands on tutorial on photoshop and imovie.
is it something that you do or can you recommend someone for it.

I am thinking of having it on Feb4, Friday.

Answer
Hi Rowena,

Yes, I teach workshops, and I'd be more than happy to help you, but naturally for me to do it in person, we have to live relatively close to each other.

If that's not the case, I can do it remotely with e-mailed material and iChat (if you need me to be available on the day of the workshop).

By the way, I don't use any "canned" material. Everything I teach is "fresh," and geared exactly to those areas the client wishes to be taught. So you can expect a workshop that's tailored to your specific needs. You'll also have handouts and instructional movies that are yours to keep.

Please send me an email at lizal@little-works.com, give me the specifics of where you are and what you want, and I'll be happy to help! I can send you my prices and an outline of what I'd present.

Thanks!

Lisa

Expertise

I've used Photoshop since the release of version 2. I taught college commercial art and graphic design for 10 years, and within that realm, taught Photoshop at every level, and with each successive product upgrade. My experience with Photoshop is thus extensive and well-rounded, from photo retouching to color adjustment to incorporating Photoshop and ImageReady into Web design. I am primarily a Mac user (since 1985), but am also PC-savvy.

Experience

I've been a graphic designer for 22 years, was a national magazine art director, a designer for the Department of Defense, a college art instructor, and have my own freelance Web and graphic design business, LittleWorks (www.little-works.com). I've also worked for several printing companies, in both prepress and art.

Awards and Honors
PICA award (Printing Industry of the Carolinas Award for the design of a media kit that accompanied a magazine I was art directing at the time)
