Question
Hi Candice,
A simple question for you.  I'm not a graphic designer, and i've never used photoshop, but i'm going to be printing hundreds of invitations, cards, mass leaflets etc over the next while.  I want the text to look crisp and of high quality, and have been adviced that printing them in Photoshop and not in Word will make all the difference.
Can you tell me if this is true?

Answer
greetings new Photoshop user :)

Depending on what you are actully doing, photoshop may be good. if you are just typing with no desire for big design, word works just fine.

If you want to do design, I reccomend Indesign actully.  Text gets skiddish and is pain to work with in Photoshop. Indesign has the same goodies as word (spelling, etc...), but it is very easy to move text around to your desire.

have fun :)
