Adobe Photoshop/Question regarding Photoshop Elements

Question
Hi,

I was hoping that you might be able to assist me, though you are probably less familiar with Photoshop than Photoshop Elements.

Recently I downloaded some pictures to my computer from a digital camera.  Some of the pictures I am having trouble with.  The are the appropriate size JPEG (2.5-4MB) however, I can't open them.

Windows viewer says 'No Preview Available' when I try to open and Photoshop Elements says 'Could not complete your request because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found'.

Do you know a way to fix this file so that it can be opened in Photoshop Elements?

I can send one of the files to try, if you would like.

Thanks!
Jeff

Answer
you are either in .raw format, which elements doens't understand, or when you uploaded your pictures, they didn't go through correctly.  Try loading them again and see what happens. My guess is that you loaded them wrong, as windows is also not liking them.
