Adobe Photoshop/Scaling
Expert: Huma Riaz - 8/31/2004
QuestionHuma,
First, thank you for your quick reply.
I'm still not there yet.
Here's what I did:
1. I opened by 1st photo (jpg) in Adobe Image.
2. I went to LAYER, then NEW, then titled this picture "Nikki". I set this LAYER as BACKGROUND.
3. I opened the 2nd photo (jpg) and did the same thing with "Randi".
Now I seemed to have two LAYERS. These layers were NOT set as a GROUP or SET.
So what's next?
Signed,

Question -
Can I scale one photo (jpg) to match another? I'm new to Adobe Photoshop. I'd like to be able to put two 'face shots' of my daughters together to become one picture. Since the photos are never precisely 'scaled' to one another, I guess I'd have to begin there?
Your assistance wold be sincerely appreciated!
Mike
Answer -
Dear Mike,
You can do it easily, there's a command in Photoshop that we call 'Free Transform (Ctrl+T)',
. select your layer,
. press this command
. scale your picture by dragging the corners (press shift for propotional scaling)
Feel free to ask anything further

AnswerNow do this:
1. Simply place your required picture on top of the existing layer
2. Press (Ctrl+T)
3. Scale it by dragging the corners.
Make sure you are not trying to scale the 'background layer' as it cannot be scaled.
Check that, hope it will solve your problem.
