Adobe Photoshop/Seqential Numbering
Expert: Candice Anderson - 9/6/2006
QuestionThanks in advance and I'll attempt to make my question as clear as possible.
I'm a semi pro (digital)wedding photographer and use Photoshop CS2 extensivly. After several catastrophies with my printing equipment I have decieded to give a CD of the digital files to a good photolab and have them print the 4x6 prints for the clients proof album.
Here's my 'how to question' Since I wont have a copy of the actual prints (with a number on the back) I'll just have the digital files in the PC) Is there any way that I can have Photoshop show a sequential number on the face of each print (say in the lower corner) that will be reproduced when the prints are processed by the lab and somthing I can then refer to when I view the prints on my PC
Again, I hope I have explaned this clearly and thanks again for any and all advice.

AnswerHey there,
There is a great way to do this:
File
Automate
contact sheet
choose the folder that your files are in
press ok
What this will do is make sheets of 9 (or however many you specify), of your photos. Your file name will be at the bottom of each photo. (so if you want it to say photo 1..., you need to rename your files before you do this)
There you go :)
