Question
I own photoshop 8.0 CS.I recently took several landscape pictures in the canadian rockies. Unfortunately it was a dull day with cloudy skies.I would like to enhance the pictures by changing the clouds to blue sky.How do i accomplish this. I am new to photoshop.
Thanks

Answer
For this, you will need to have a picture of blue sky with the same perspective as the landscape image you need to replace.

1. Copy and paste your sky layer on the top of your master file as needed. Place the sky area, as you want it to be looks, network about the corner edges of the picture

2. You will need to transform (Ctrl+T) your sky layer to adjust it in the landscape as you want.

3. Now layer mask the sky layer (Layer menu, Layer Mask Button) and cleanup the un-wanted area with brush tool.

4. Do some levels (Ctrl+L) to adjust the color tones, and saturate the skies to look more beautiful.

You must have got what you want, if still you have any problem or question, feel free to ask anything further.
