Adobe Photoshop/Transparent background w/text logo
Expert: Candice Anderson - 7/27/2006
QuestionI am basically new to photoshop, and can do some very basic things.
I have a clients logo that was on a background(blue image w/some gfx in it) - then he changed his mind and wanted just the solid background that exists behind where the text logo is to go.
The logo is at

I tried a few things, but cannot get the text image completely transparent. I have one more day to complete this project.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answerwebsite didn't work - unless it's the checkmark logo.
let's see. are you talking about making the text transparent on the background?
here's what you do.
type what you need to type, make sure it's on a seperate layer.
double click the layer
click the shadow bar and make your shadow the desired size (if you want a shadow of course, this will later be an outline of your tranparent word.
on the layers box, move your fill to 0 per cent.
done :)
