i am downloading from font sites and putting them on my desktop then trying to open them with photoshop but its saying its not the right document for photoshop.

Im having trouble getting new font onto my photoshop, i have downloaded some cool fonts i want to use but can't seem to get them onto my photoshop can you help?

Hello Martyn,

No, this is not the correct way of doing this so...

Install the fonts into your system.

1. Copy the font(s) from your desktop (Ctrl+C)
2. Open Control Panel > Fonts
3. Paste them in here (Ctrl+V)


if they ask to install the newer version, click ok and proceed.
