Adobe Photoshop/actions

QuestionThanks for yopur help Candice, but I get asked by Photoshop to
save the file before I can go on. Perhaps I'm not asking the right
question. I want to place some type "PREVIEW" over images that I
am sending to customers. Placing the type needs to be flexable so
it does not cover faces etc. Once I have positioned the type, I want
to flatten the image and save it as a jpg. Also it would be nice if the
action didn't ask me the quality but just saved it. This is like a
copyright for my images. Any suggstions would be helpful. Thanks,
Clark
Answerah,
You need to make a new action then. What you can do is copy your action, then take out what you don't need.
I'm not sure what you are asking about when placing the text over it. Are you just talking about a watermark? This you can add to your new action, but you have to have it in the same place each time. If you need it to be differnt, just have the action create the watermark, but stop there. That way you can postition it yourself and then just manually flatten and save it (or make another action to flatten and save.)
You really can't get out of the saving screen for Jpegs, or at least I haven't found a way :). you really shouldn't be saving your files as jpegs anyway, as it damages your file each time you do it (but if its just a sample, then thats no problem). I'm not sure why, but a professor told me this.
