Question
I have an imaged that was scanned in and you can see lightly the square of paper.  How can I whiten up the background.  They eyedropper won't change it.

thanks in advance

Answer
Dear George,

You will have to cutout the image to get rid of the background.

. Select the area you want to keep (use lasso/Path/Magic Wand)
. Inverse the selection (Ctrl+Alt+I)
. Press delete from keyboard (the background will be deleted. Make sure you will have the specific color you want as background in foreground palette)

Hope it will help, feel free to ask anything further
