Question
hello, how do you make certain objects in a picture colored and the rest black&white?

It depends on you, weather you are trying to make color picture to B/W or vice versa
Make selection of required area and make it B/W through Hue/Saturation Menu (Ctrl+U). Switch the saturation bar to -100.
