Hi Reyad,

What do you mean by a "signboard?" Are you talking about signboards for Web pages, or those that are traditionally printed?

If you're talking about those for Web pages, I know of one company that has what they call signboard templates, but they're not free:

If you're talking about traditionally-printed advertising signs, I need more information in order to answer your questions.

What size sign are you creating? How will the sign be printed? Will it be free-standing or hanging, or will it be screen printed and put on a backdrop (like you see at a trade show)? Or are you talking about a traditional sandwich-board type sign?

Also, what platform are you working from: PC or Mac? Will you be creating the design and then putting it ito a page layout program, or just using the Photoshop file to print from?

If you can help me by giving me as much information as you can, I'll do my best to help you locate what you need.

I've used Photoshop since the release of version 2. I taught college commercial art and graphic design for 10 years, and within that realm, taught Photoshop at every level, and with each successive product upgrade. My experience with Photoshop is thus extensive and well-rounded, from photo retouching to color adjustment to incorporating Photoshop and ImageReady into Web design. I am primarily a Mac user (since 1985), but am also PC-savvy.

Experience

I've been a graphic designer for 22 years, was a national magazine art director, a designer for the Department of Defense, a college art instructor, and have my own freelance Web and graphic design business, LittleWorks (www.little-works.com). I've also worked for several printing companies, in both prepress and art.

PICA award (Printing Industry of the Carolinas Award for the design of a media kit that accompanied a magazine I was art directing at the time)
