hey there, ive searched high and low on the internet for the answers to these questions with no avail, i am very new to photoshop and need to find the answers to these questions for my course and then learn them for a test i have. If theres any way at all you could help i would be ever so grateful.Its all about photoshop...

1. Rubber Stamp tool
2. Brush

5. Suggest a way in which you might repair a larger area of an image.

A:
1. Lasso/fill

6. What is a “History State”.

A: Last open file State

7. What is a “Snapshot”.

A: Image that has been taken mostly from monitor

8. What is an “Adjustment Layer” and why is it useful?

A: The Color editing that we might do in a layer, it keeps safe the original layer from the effects, its helpful in editing

10. What is an “Alpha Channel”

A: Every Image that we see is built on color information, in photoshop the channel is called single color information. i.e. default is R(Ctrl+1), G(Ctrl+2) B (Ctrl+3). one can make custom channels also,

11. What does a Pixel value of zero represent in an image.

A: In color values, 0 represents no color information (not clear if asking about XY values)

A: To pick color information from canvas

A: Hand moves canvas page, move tool moves objects

A: Most of the mouse oriented tasks can be efficiently done by keyboard, i.e. movement by arrow Keys on key board (1 press=1pix, +shift=10Pix)

A: Un Sharp mask uses when we need to sharp a small/slightly-blurred picture, it helps improving the clarity especially for JPG images.

A: Transform Tool (Ctrl+T)

21. Name two ways to convert a Colour image to Black and White.

A:
1. Colorize (Hue Saturation Window, Saturation=0)
2. Mode Change to Grey Scale

22. What is the difference between “Canvas Size” and “Image Size”.

A:

1. Canvas size uses when a canvas needs to be corrected/modified
2. Image size is uses for changing the resolution of the file.

A: Drag and drop, by using move tool, but keep in mind it works only with layers

A: Mask is known as selecting the area of what you need to edit/remove by any tool for instance brush/gradient. However; selection is limited. Selection uses for rough parts, masking is in depth and detailed work.
