Adobe Photoshop/drawing a triangle

Question
Sorry for such a simple question, but I'm brand new to Photoshop, and none of it is intuitive to me...

Using Photoshop 7.0

Anyway, I'd like to draw a triangle with a black border and a white (or transparent) interior.

I've been able to draw a triangle, but which is totally black, by using the line tool with an arrowhead at one end (the arrowhead is the triangle). But I haven't been able to figure out how to do one which is not filled.

I can draw one using the pen tool by drawing the three sides separately, and putting them together, but it doesn't look so great.

My preference would be to draw one line I did using the line tool and arrowheads, but have it white with a black border if possible.

Thanks for your help!

Answer
Dear Dan

For this you will have to draw a thick line arrow (you cannot have border in a line shape object such as arrow) and after creating it, go to edit > stroke

In stroke menu

. Choose black color
. The thickness of the stroke
. And opacity

Now you can see the result, if you are not satisfied, you can ask further anytime.
