Question
when i try to paste new brushes into the presets folder i keep getting the message "Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use."
i tried re-installing but i keep getting the same message, this also happens when i try to move plug-in files...please help and thank you =)

Answer
two questions:

1. is it a legal copy of photoshop? (a friend we will say, had this problem before - there's really not much you can do in this case)

2. are you on an intel MAC? Again, not much you can do...dangit

3. if no to both, do you have enough space? Photoshop needs, I believe, 1 gig to play with when opened - before things start going nuts.

4. if no to that, check to make you are under the same user name that photoshop was installed in (did an administrator other than you install this program.) If no, then you need to reinstall with you as the administrator.

5. CHECK AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF YOUR UPDATES!!!!!!

Try those :)
