i'm thinking of buying a graphics tablet for use with photoshop, but am getting different information from my two local computer shops(what do they know). so i open photoshop with a picture i want to work on, does the graphics tablet relate to everything on my monitor or just the picture (i have a 19inch monitor and thinking of buying a 6x4inch tablet)and if it can be made to relate to the picture, does it mean i have to resize the picture to 6x4 or can i work on larger pictures but just in 6x4 bits.if you could help i would be very gratful

hey Mick,

If you are buying a nice tablet, I reccomend graphis, then you have the option to do whatever ever you want in respect to having the screen only work on photoshop or work on desktop and photoshop.  The default is work on the program thats active and work on the desktop when no program is active. You do not need to do any resizing.  You hook the tablet it up and it knows how big your screen is.  The trick with these tablets is traing yourself to look at the screen and write instead of just looking at the tablet.

I have the one a tad bigger and I love it.  Have fun with the tablet :)
