Question
What is the best way to protect an image from being downloaded and copied from a website? Digital watermarks have been mentioned or visual watermarks.

Our customer wants people to buy the professional photographs from them insteead of printing their own low res ones.

We have studio8 and photoshop 7 at our disposal.

We tried digimark filter to embed one but I wasn't sure it worked.

Hi adam,

There are ways to protect images; few site holders forbid the right click on the page. Watermark usage can also be also a good choice.

Photoshop has the capability to produce digital watermarks; you can make a standard stamp for each and every image and use the Action panel from Photoshop for placing it on the images in your list within few minutes.
