Adobe Photoshop/multiple layers

Question
Hi, ive been searching the web for this one but couldn't find a thing. So this is my last hope :D
In Photoshop cs2:
Untill now, when i wanted to put multiple pictures in a new document, i just opened them all, and moved their layers into that new (empty)document.
But i was wondering, when you want to put 30-40 pictures in one new document, isnt there an easier way? maybe with batch or something like that?
lots of thanx in advance.

Answer
There are 2 solutions;

1. Recording an action and play. (See action Palette in windows menu)
2. Create a batch by going into File > Automate > Batch

Both are good ways, try them, you can ask me if you face any complexities.
