Question
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.  I'd like to put a border around my projects, but I don't want it on the very edge of my photo.  I'd like it about a 1/4 inch inside the photo.  I have an example but I don't know how to send it to you.  Can you help?
Thank you.

Answer
its not the best way, but if you only have photoshop and not Indesign it will have to do.

go to the shape tool (the one that looks like a square on the tool bar) and make a square where you want the boarder to be. then go to your brush tool. Select how big you want the brush to be. The size of the brush is the size of the square.

Then got to your layers box and click the paths tab.  YOu now have a path. click the triangle and go to fill stroke. choose brush.

done.

if you have indesign, bring the photo and make your square there. It may look better.
