Adobe Photoshop/painting

Question
I just started Adobe photoshop CS. I am really afraid as I am no clude how to use it on a mac. I have to paint layers from a painting. My problem is that I don't know what to click to get the layers and the diffirent ways to paint the picture onto those layers. I hope I'm making sense. Thanks for your help.

Dear Nandita,

There's nothing to get scared. :)

Until you go into something and do mistakes you cannot learn something. just follow the right procedures, you will not face much problems...

Macintosh has the same UI environment as windows; except one mouse button and option key. The Right clicking on windows does almost the same as Macintosh option key. Rest are almost same i.e. Command=Ctrl. and alt etc.


To understand layers procedure, try to work with mouse first, once you will be able to understand the environment, you can use keyboard shortcuts also.
