-----Question-----
I have photoshop 2. starter. Can I upgrade this to be the equivalent of Adobe Photo Delux or do I need to buy a new program? Can you compare these to Picasa Photo?
Many thanks.
-----Answer-----
photo delux is  much much much cheaper than cs2. and no.

Picasa - like microsoft paint, only cooler.  Good for novelist who wants to get rid of scratch or red eye, i like it :)

photo delux - ?

photoshop - professional use.  Good for graphic artists, art directors, anything you see in magazines.  I'd reccomend this one over all, its pretty easy.  But starting price is 500.

Answer
1. no, its not an album program...but it can make contact sheets.

2.wait...are you talking about photoshop elements? either way, yes.  elements is, cheap, photoshop, very expensive.

3. photoshop is diffrent than delux.  I dont know what delux does, but I'm assuming it just fixes small things.  Again, photoshop is for the professional.  You can do small things and a millions things more.  www.photoshopcafe.com, here are some examples on what photoshop is meant to do.

4. What is this starter you talk of...do you mean elements? If you want to fix small things and organzise files. elements or delux if fine.

sorry, this is for photoshop users so I'm going with a lot of guesses :)
