Adobe Photoshop/photoshop

QuestionI have been having a problem sending photos to guys on aol, so
one time I selected another way to save a scan, and now I am
having a major problem.
Whenever I open a picture on my desktop it opens only in
Photoshop, but it also creates immediate layers and the picture
ends up I believe with “dust & scratches” and a sunset glow all
over, kind of "out of focus sepia tone".
If I click cancel on all the windows that come up the picture
reverts back to normal, however some pictures open and
immediately become this filtered look and disappear back to the
place they were opened from as the new filtered look not to be
reverted back. But every subsequent time I open it, it gets worse.
What can I do or click to make this go away, or what suggestions
might you have as to where to go. Thanks in advance for any
help. RENE
AnswerAs far as I understand your problem, you have saved an action and each time you try to open any file, it runs that action on the file and closes it. You might have been using Photoshop as your default image viewer.
To solve this issue, you will have to see what the key strokes you press are, or what you do un-consciously that made this action to run every time it opens the software. First try to the default image viewer, and then that action that runs each time from actions window in Photoshop.
