Question
hello,

I know how to create a graphic in photoshop, then click the save for web button. I know how to create an image, then save it with the extension of psd or jpeg or gif or whatever, then insert it  into my html document via the img=src tag with no problem. What I don't know is this: When I save a graphic normally (gif, jpeg) I can pull it up fine using the img=src tag, but when I use the save for web option, the graphic is saved as a firefox(that's my browser ) document. Exactly how do I get to be able to use the web page I've created in photoshop, into my html document? I'd like for it to be seen when I open the html page and see the webpage as I do see whatever grphic I may insert. Is there some special code. I'm missing something. Do I need to use an FTP? Can you please help by giving me the precise instructions, using steps?

Answer
Dear Ruqayyah,

It is just that your may have not seen the save for web menu closely, there is a drop down menu under PRESET option, which has file format option to choose from, like the default format is PNG format, and since you may not have this extension enabled, it opens in IE alternatively.

Choose GIF or JPG as requirement and also change the quality/color as desired.
