Hello
I have a problem when typing text in photoshop CS. here is the detail:
i press the text button, and open that dotted box in which the text gets written. there should be a line in the box right? but there is none. and i can't type anything. i tried different sizes of fonts but it just won't work.
the problem started when one day as i was designing in photoshop this message appeared saying : font size can only be between 1 and 100. (or something like that) i pressed 'ok' and well this happened.
i tried re-installing photoshop but it just stayed the same.
can you please help me?

Hi Cait,
just check if you are using 'Type Tool' or 'Type Mask Tool'.
That is long press on the 'text tool' in the control palette, for the fly-out to show all the types and select the top most 'Horizontal Type Tool' and try again. Also try with other font types and sizes.

Let me know if this isn't the solution.

P.s. Do let me know what's happening as in if the document color is changing or anything weird happening in the layout, when using the type tool.
