Question
I don't know much about computers. I am thinking about getting a digital camera and am wondering how you get pictures onto a computer from the camera?  Do you need a special program.  I just have a basic Dell laptop.

Answer
Dear Lisa,

There are ample of software and cameras are in market, and all has different software and a little bit dissimilar procedure to follow.

After you purchase the camera, there will be a software along with your camera, all you need to do is to install that software in your pc, and plug-in the camera with computer after snapping the pictures.

The latest software and windows are smart enough to lead you to copy the images on your hard drive. The software has other features also, such as rotating pictures to the correct angle, or red eye fixing etc.

Or even you can simply copy the files from the one drive to another if you don't want to use the software. The camera is supposed to show as a removable drive and you can easily copy the files from it.
