Question
I have photoshop elements 2.0. All of a sudden, I can't use the software. It gives me numerous error messages as follows "the procedure entry point PIZStopAlert could not be located in the dynamic link library PLUGIN.dll" The error messages are all the same except the name on the "entry point" changes, such as "PIQuickZToCStrignLen,"  "CentreDialog" etc.
I tried deleting and reinstalling the software, to no avail. Help!
my OS is Windows xp-home  thank you

Answer
1. update your elements files
2. update your computer
3. if still not working, open elements in safe mode
4. if it opened, then something is corrupted with elements, and i'm not what. If it didn't open, then there is something going on with your actual hard drive. You will need to do a hard drive scan and this will hopefully fix the problem.
5. you haven't recently deleted anything, have you? That also might have does this.
