Maybe this is outside of your area but...
What I would like to do is a screen capture of a video on my screen.  I downloaded the trail version of snagit.exe but can't figure out if that does it.  I heard realmedia player blocks one from doing captures.  any advice?

There are software available in the market, which can do this job for you, I personally tried 2 softwares. Although i do not remember the names anymore but I guess this link below will help you to find out the correct one.
