Adobe Photoshop/taking out backround
Expert: Candice Anderson - 2/27/2007
Questioni am not very versed in photoshop, i have 7.0 i have a round logo that is on a dark background, i want to just take out the background so it is white. i have tried the magic wand tool, then cut the background, but the edges of the round logo are not clean. i tried the background eraser tool, but when i click on that the pointer is a round circle & again i cant get the edge of the round logo to come out clean. i thought i had used the background eraser tool before somehow & i just clicked one time & it took out the entire background. maybe i am just dreaming that ??
any help will be greatly appreciated
thanks,June
Answeryou need to use the pen tool
make a circle using said pen tool, which will create a path.
once done, go to the paths tab, thats next to the layers tab.
apple click the path you made
apple, shift, I - this will choose the inverse
delete :)
