Dear Tajdar,

Nice to know you are having a major degree in design. Here is the answer of your question.

First you have to
. Create a pattern you want to repeat,
. Make a selection of that pattern
. Copy it
. Go to edit > 'define pattern' and choose the pattern you have just created
. Take rubber stamp tool and choose pattern stamp tool.
Choose the pattern you require from tool options.
. Now drag the rubber stamp brush on the canvas your pattern will repeat
