Question
Can you use adobe photo shop to put a watermark on a jpg picture file? ~ please explain the process if it can be done. If it cant, what common program do you recommend? Thank You

Answer
Yes you can do watermarking with photoshop. Here's how:
1) Open the logo file. Select all and copy the logo layer. (ctrl+a & ctrl+c)
2) Open your JPG picture file, then paste the logo here (ctrl+v)
3) If the logo is small/big you can resize it in your desired way using the free transform tool (ctrl+t)
4) Now set the transparency level of the logo layer to 50% (or whatever you like)
5) Save the file as jpg again. Bingo! your file now has a watermark.
