What state do you live in? Do you have your homestudy done? Your fingerprints done that would be a part of that procedure? Do you have an adoption lawyer that your already in touch with so you know the laws of your state and if you find a birthmom in another state the laws of her state as well>? Feel free to ask I am not a lawyer just a adoptive mom but I will do my best to be supportive to you as well as point you in the right area for information etc.
Are you in the United states>? If your already matched with a potential birthmom how did you find each other?

No we are matched! (Thank God) we met private! we are friends and I have a lawyer and homestudy and all complete. Just have Question!
Answer Ok what is your question? What state do you and the birthmom live in? How many weeks pregnant is she? Does the birthfather know of the pregnancy and is he Ok with an adoption plan? Has she or he had counseling many states insist that it be offered. Who did your homestudy and how long ago was it completed? Is this your first child? Your first adoption?
