Question
We are trying to adopt a child from another country and the attorney in that country is asking me for the  Homestudy, Psychological and Sociological papers, we are license for adoption here in U.S.(licensed by DCFS)but those paper I don't have because the agency don't give them out, what can I do? Is there any other way of getting these papers?

Answer
You are going to need an international homestudy done if your doing international adoption. The different countries require different information in the homestudy. The state does not have to give you any information that they use for their homestudy. I would contact an agency that does homestudies for the country your looking to adopt from call around they charge different fees. Take care and best wishes on finding your new child.
