Experience Having started the adoption process for the first time in the summer of 2000, I now have 6 years of experience. My husband and I have completed two adoptions from China, and have been parenting for 4 years now.
Education/Credentials None related to adoption, but I am a Registered Nurse with 9 years of experience.
Question I am a want to be mom. My husband and I have been looking into adoption. There are so many adoption agencies out there. We don't know which ones are serious and which are scams. Any advice on which adoption agency is reputable?
Answer Hi!! I would love to recommend a few reputable agencies to you, but need to ask you a few questions first!
(1) Are you looking into domestic adoption (here in the US) or international adoption?
(2) If you're looking at international adoption - have you decided on a country? Which one?
(3) Are you looking for an agency that is located in your state? Does location of the agency matter?
Knowing the answers to those questions will help me tremendously!!
