AboutColleen Expertise I can answer questions about the adoption process. I don't handle questions about searches for adoptive parents.
Experience I have three adopted children. The two youngest were adopted as infants. In both cases, we dealt with the birthmother during her pregnancy and a bit afterwards. Our children are now old enough to begin asking questions and we are dealing with those issues.

Question Ok, theres is an ex gf who is pregnant and is saying the baby is mine, which i do not believe is cause the dates dont add up. So i was wondering in order for her to have an adoption does she need a fathers signature or can she say she doesnt know who it is?
Answer Every state has different adoption laws, but in general, the courts prefer to have an adoption where the father has been notified and has consented. This is to prevent the father from trying to get the child back after an adoption has taken place.
If you are not sure of the paternity issue, you can request a blood test after the child is born to see if you are the father or not. I strongly suggest you do this, and if adoption is something you want to do, you should sign the necessary papers to give the adoptive parents peace of mind, and to insure your child has the security he or she will need.
