Questionhello, and thank you for your time..i have two questions i hope you can help me with. first, i have read your other answeres and i agree that you have made it perfectly clear that one can not produce adult material out side of california. i have been planing my own website for years and i was very disapointed to run into this brickwall. therefor i am wondering , is there a way to lease or purchase adult material from a legal sorce in california, and use it on a website? and where would one serch for that sorce?
also, my second question is, i beleive i have good writeing abilities, and good ideas, plots, skripts, skits, etc. for adult movies, who would i pitch such ideas too?
again thanks for your time, and i look forward to hearing from you

AnswerYes, you can purchase content from a broker and legally use it. There are several Adult Content Brokers with loads of generic content for sale but they can be a little tricky to find.
Here are a couple of content brokers I know of:
www.web-legal.com/begin.html
www.ounique.com
You need to understand that purchased content, while affordable and easily obtained, has a couple of drawbacks. The largest of these drawbacks being the generic nature of the material and the fact it is for sale to EVERYONE. The EXACT same image/video sets you purchase are also available to every other site owner out there looking for content. So the content you buy, may very well show up on dozens, if not hundreds, of other sites.
Another problem is that because of the affordability, much of this material is purchased by the “Free Porn” sites. Most people wont pay for what they can get for free...so pay sites that rely on purchased content often struggle just to make ends meet and very rarely turn a profit.
Now keep in mind that for the reasons mentioned above I have never used purchased content and probably never will. Therefore, I can not attest to the reliability, reputation, or business ethics of these brokers.
Now on to the second part of your question:
Unfortunately, you are going to be out of luck trying to pitch scripts or screenplays to Adult Producers…..we simply do not use them anymore. Ever wonder why the dialog in porn films always sounds corny? It because we make it up as we go along. Adult films today have very loose story lines at best and are simply all about the action. When we hire a performer we really don’t care if she can act. All we care about is if can she have sex on film and look damn good doing it. If you have hired performers who need a script to have sex….then you hired the wrong people.
To be honest, the days of “plot porn” ended well over 10 years ago and it not likely to make a return anytime soon.
Hope this information helps.
