Adult Film/Creating a porn company?

Question
My question is probably quiet complicated but I was wondering how to create a fetish porn company. I am not so interested in staring myself although in some types of film it maybe an option. I would be more of the scrip writer and director of the films. It seems so underground and hard to talk to the right people. I would running the company as a legitimate business.

Answer
Paul,

First, you are smart to consider a particular niche - they fare far better than generic porn sites.

Second, you need to do your homework.  If you're going to built a website, will it be a free or pay site?  What is your competition doing?  What will you do better than them?  Are you going to produce your own content or license it from others?  Remember - to be successful and profitable you need to have a steady stream of content month after month.  Nothing kills a site like stale content.

Check out sites like ynot.com and xbiz.com, and absorb as much information as you can.  You'll find that whatever fetish you're considering, you'll find people open and willing to discuss it with you on these types of sites.

I've recently put together an adult business cheat sheet as well - feel free to visit my website at www.adultwebsitelawyer.com for more info.
