Question
I want to produce a aldult calender with pornographic images ? Is that illegal in the state of nj ?
Will you be producing your own images, or licensing images from third parties? If the latter, provided that the images are not obscene, as that term has been defined the the U.S. Supreme Court, it is not illegal.
If the former, be aware that NJ has not promulgated any laws that explicitly permit the production of sexually-explicit content; only California has done so, so you potentially run the risk of pandering charges if you are producing and shooting your own content. In either case, you'll need to comply with the recordkeeping and labeling requirements of 18 U.S.C. 2257 and its associated federal regulations.
