Question
I would like to use the City of Chicago as my back drop and pretend like it all happeneinig in Chicago. If I were too shoot the sex scene in Cali and the non sex scene in Chicago. Would I be more likley to be inspected? What is the safest way to pull this off?

I understand that it only legal to film in California. M

Answer
I'm not sure what type of inspection you're referring to.  If you are talking about inspections conducted by the FBI under 18 USC 2257, these inspections are done at random, so your shooting strategy would be irrelevant.

If you are talking about some other type of enforcement action, let me know and I'll do my best to answer.
