Question
hey Dan....
first off since going thru 'an reading your answer i have been refocus and handling business pretty well... that being said...here is my question....

i recently started up my adult entertainment company, i deal with exotic dancers, escorts and those looking to be amateur pornstars or looking to get into the adult industry...but bout a week ago i held a interview with a young lady who said she was looking to get in the business...she turned out to be a undercover cop 'an took my ad on craigslist to be looking for i guess hookers...but anyway to make a long story short i didn't get arrested...but i was told that i could've been because i was basically on the boarderline of solicition....is that true? 'an if so, how can i avoid that? what kind of questions should i be asking?

any help with this would great be welcomed, I've been in this game a while (12yrs) 'an never been arrested or charge has a pimp or anything and would love to keep it that way

thanks
Harlem

Answer
Harlem,

This is a very common concern, and an area in which I see people screwing up all the time.  It is important to focus on the First Amendment and free speech element of any advertisement for adult models, even though in most jurisdictions there is still an inherent risk.

Since I cannot give legal advice over these boards, feel free to contact me through my website (www.adultwebsitelawyer.com) for more information on this issue.
