Adult Film - In Virginia, Male how do I get started in porn?

Expert: Jim Boyd - 2/3/2008

Question
I'm a 31 yo Native American Male looking to get in the bussiness athletic build shaved head very handsome. Where do I start? I live in Virginia.

Answer
Hi Malachi,

You need to understand that there is an abundance of men wanting to be male porn stars. So many in fact, that the supply is much bigger than the demand, therefore your odds of actually finding work in this industry is very slim. It is EXTREMELY difficult for men to get a break in this business.

Now that being said, it wouldn’t hurt for you to contact a couple reputable Adult Talent Agencies, and talk to them about your options. Just don’t get your hopes up...even if you are successful in finding an Agency that is currently accepting males, it in no way guarantees you will actually be offered any work by a producer.

Unfortunately, I currently do not know of any agencies that are signing males...so I am unable to recommend one too you.
