Hi Jim,

   I'm a part time photographer and my day job allows me to travel quite a bit.  I meet quite a few women who are interested in the adult business.  How do I steer them in the right direction to a reputable agency?  And how does one become a talent scout?  I've seen several sites that want your money to become a scout for them, but like anything else it sounds to good to be true.  Thanks for your time.

Most Adult Producers have their own in-house people (AKA "Casting Directors" or "Talent Coordinator" ) who look for new talent. They are not Scouts who traditionally work on a commission, but actual employees of the production company and draw a regular paycheck. The ones who don’t have their own staff, simply rely on an Agency to find their talent….

However, just like the Producers, Agencies have their own employees who keep an eye out for new talent and DO NOT rely on 3rd party “Scouts”

Your best bet to help these girls would be to simply point them to one of the following Adult Talent agencies. Even though you will not be getting paid for making the recommendation…at least you would know you have helped a young woman avoid a lot of future headaches...
