Hi there Jim, I have a question.  I'm new to the adult film business and have recently recieved offers to do movies. BUT, I don't have a clue on what the basic starting rate($$) should be for certain scenes and don't want to get screwed over , being that I'm an amatuer.  I don't know where to turn for a head's up. I haven't invested in an agent/agency. Just doing it solo.  Can you PLEASE help me?

Keep in mind that these prices ARE NOT in any way written in stone but they are a fair estimation of what a newcomer should expect to be offered for the type of scene specified. The rate will, of course, vary depending on several factors including, the popularity/ experience of the performer.

Girl/Girl                                                            $400-600
Girl/Girl (anal)                                                $500-800
Boy/Girl                                                          $500-1200
Boy/Girl (anal)                                              $700-2000
Boy/Boy/Girl (double penetration)         $1000-2500

I would strongly suggest you contact an Adult Talent Agency as soon as possible. This business is full of people who would take advantage of a woman in your position so; the benefits of working with an Agency are far superior to not having representation. For your own safety I would also STRONGLY advise you to avoid placing and/or answering ads on sites like xpeeps.com, craigslist.com and backpage.com looking for work. These, and many similar, sites are common playgrounds for all manor of predator and are honestly never used by legitimate Adult Industry Professionals to any real extent.
