Hi Jim, how are you mate? Just wondering what the general practise is with props and such once filming is done? as in toys or speciality outfits. Are they cleaned and kept by the studio/ production company for future shoot or are they given to the performers who used them?

I’m good my friend, thanks for asking.
Actually both practices are rather common. Many producers will reuse such items after proper cleaning and sterilization and others will simply discard them and by new ones for the next shoot.

Personally, I find the performers are more comfortable when they know they are using new toys as opposed to used, so I replace most of them between shoots.
