Myself and my wife want to run a Adult web site, in Ontario, Canada. Are we OK legally

If you are simply operating an adult website, then there are no issues relating to operating that site in Ontario, providing the site does not violate any Canadian federal laws.  If you intend to produce adult content, you may be subject to municipal film production or adult entertainment regulations, and may wish to consult an attorney.
